Congratulations!  On behalf of the church family here at Living Word, we congratulate you on your engagement!  We rejoice with you in your upcoming wedding.           I trust that you both will agree to take part in the pre-marital instruction program that is offered here at the church.  It is my prayer that this time of personal counseling will give positive direction to you both as individuals and as a couple.  By briefly discussing the spiritual, social, and practical issues of family foundations from a biblical perspective, we hope that you will be able to recognize and avoid the difficulties that have a way of threatening the stability of the Christian home.  I look forward to these meetings, and I hope you will, too.

          We consider the estate of marriage to be a most holy and special bond and are pleased that our church can play a part in this special time for you. We have a number of resources available to you to assist you in making this occasion a meaningful one and to assure that the wedding and surrounding tasks run smoothly.  We look forward to sharing this important event with you.

          In the meantime you will find an "Application For Church Weddings" for you to complete and return (usually 10-12 months before the preferred wedding date.)  Please contact our church offices at 428-2351 to schedule the counseling times (usually 2-3 months in advance of wedding date).  If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call the church office.
